The studio is where i am most at home. For over three decades I have thrived on finding great sounds and playing the right part for the song. From a young age my heroes have been the “studio” guys… Confident, creative, Versatile, Efficient… There is no better feeling than helping to make a song even better than an artist or songwriter thought it could be.

 
 
 

Acoustic Drums

I currently do most of my remote recording at a beautiful space near my home in Nova Scotia. I have a collection of drums from a number of eras that can cover any vibe you could think of. My rig is also portable and I have access to a number of other sonic spaces as well. My turnover time is usually under 24 hours, depending on my schedule.

Programming/Electronic Drums

Electronic Percussion has always been a fascination of mine. While I have integrated Electronics into my live playing for a long time, I have been programming for clients quite a bit more in the last few years. Whether it is an electronic sound with a human feel, or programming parts from a drummer’s perspective, I’ll give it a shot!

I PRIMARILY WORK IN LOGIC AND ABLETON LIVE, UTILIZING YAMAHA DTX ELECTRONICS. I ALSO USE VINTAGE INSTRUMENTS FROM YAMAHA, ENSONIQ, SIMMONS AND KAT
